Thank you for all those who expressed support and concern for my impatience in welcoming our new addition. He finally arrived on Saturday and we couldn’t be happier (especially me and my bulging belly!). We are doing great and adjusting to life at home.

I am looking for a sugar cookie recipe that is thick and dense like you would get from a bakery but not crispy. Do you have a recipe like this or do you have any hints on how I would get a sugar cookie to be chewy and dense rather than light and fluffy, almost cake-like?
