Are you hot? Dude. I’m hot. And I’m talking the sweaty-variety, sadly, not the smokin’-hot-bod-variety.
I’ve hit my peak of summer sweat flow which means, clearly, the only solution is for me to start consuming large quantities of ice cream since summer isn’t even close to abating yet.
Since I don’t want to be alone in my caloric bliss (I currently own a Cuisinart ice Cream maker and l.o.v.e. it), I’m giving away two Cuisinart Ice Cream Makers and two copies of David Lebovitz’s widely heralded Ice Cream Bible, if you will: The Perfect Scoop.

I really need an ice cream maker because I am lactose intolerant and the only way I can eat it (without feeling like dying the next day) is to make my own soy or almond milk ice cream. My sister lent me her ice cream maker last month and I made a delicious chocolate peanut butter banana ice cream with dark chocolate almond milk. Yum!
I borrowed that book from the library once…fantastic recipes and tips for making great ice cream! Count me in!
My favorite is butterfinger, but I hate to discriminate! I’m an aequal opportunist ice cream eater!
Oh MAN! I have been saying for the last year how much I need (yes, need) an ice cream maker so I can make all these amazing flavors I am seeing on the blog-o-sphere! I tend to love a LOT of different flavors, but I think my good-ol-constant favorite is the Hagan Daz Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl.

My favorite kind of ice cream is any flavor that is homemade. I only get that once or twice a year when we visit my parents, so at all other times my favorite is cookies and cream.

I hate picking a favorite ice cream (because there are so many good ones) but if I could only have one flavor for the rest of my life, it would be Cake Batter…specifically from Cold Stone. But I’m willing to try Cake Batter from anyone who makes it, just to make sure I know who does it the best!

Do I have to pick just one? I love me some Bluebell homemade vanilla,
but I also love a raspberry swirl cheesecake I’ve been eating lately, cookie dough (made one once that was chocolate, chocolate chip cookie dough – YUM!) cookies and cream is another favorite as if anything with a tasty brownie chunk (currently have a frozen yogurt with brownie – sooo tasty.) This list could go on and on. I love ice cream. It is a horrible (for my waistline anyway) but delicious habit I’ve picked up from my husband.

I found this recipe for a strawberry icecream a few years ago that is just to die for. Going to have to stay loyal to that one. However, if you are treating me, I’d pick the Gold Medal Ribbon ice cream from basking robbing every.single.time!

It’s so hard to choose just one favorite ice cream flavor! I love Ben and Jerry’s Coconut Seven Layer Bar. I also made a cherry, coconut, chocolate chunk ice cream a few months ago, and it’s definitely one of my favorites.

I go through phases…one day it’ll be strawberry, another cookies and cream, and then other days I’ll go for something crazy like sweet corn ice cream, it never ends. Boy does it upset my husband when I can’t decide what I want (but whatever he picks I’m ” not in the mood for that”) Haha

Once a year for about a month Blue Bell has Snickerdoodle Ice Cream. Mmmmmm. Oh its so good! Definitely worth the wait each year!!
