If you haven’t been over to You Got Served, you should check it out! Kristin is a good friend of mine who started a food blog a few months ago. I honestly think I have bookmarked every single one of her recipes, like the Roasted Asparagus Panini, Autumn Pear Salad, and the Brown Sugar Pork Loin. Kristin is an expert panini creator and posts some fabulous combinations, as well as some incredible salads. While she may not know it, she is in the process of converting me to become an expert panini maker, too! She asked me to be a guest poster on her blog this week where I shared a delicious caramel apple pie recipe that my brother, Nate, and his wife, Kylie, gave me (this pie is the perfect combination of tartness and sweetness – it will win you over!).

Happy Halloween – may you eat more tootsie rolls than you’ve ever dreamed of!
