Pizza Sauce FAQs

Do you use ground or leafy oregano?

I use leafy oregano.

Do I need to use tomato paste if I’m using fresh tomatoes?

The tomato paste helps thicken the sauce so just keep an eye on the consistency if using fresh tomatoes.

Can I adjust the amount of sugar in the recipe?

Of course- its just a matter of preference.

How can I use fresh roma tomatoes instead of canned tomatoes?

You could blanch and peel them and use them in place of the diced tomatoes.
