This refreshing mango lassi better-than-a-smoothie concoction, is creamy, light, fruity, and absolutely delicious!

This is my take on a traditional Indian drink: a mango lassi. Creamy, light, fruity – this better-than-a-smoothie concoction is absolutely delicious and I make it every time I find ripe mangoes at a good price.

It probably goes without saying that my kids (and husband) slurp this up like it is nobody’s business.

Mango Lassi

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, seeded and cut into chunks
  • 1 ½ cups plain yogurt
  • cup sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • 6-8 frozen or fresh strawberries
  • Handful of ice

Instructions 

  • Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
