Recipes the World Forgot

Every so often, I like to highlight recipes that are buried in the archives to help all of you who may be new around these parts or have somehow missed them (I’m guessing a lot of you love and make these regularly, just like we do!). We all need a dose of recipe inspiration now and again, right?

Today’s bundle is full of yummy goodness. That mango and black bean quinoa salad is crazy delicious (Brian’s fave) and don’t get me started on those little peanut butter pretzel truffle bonbon thingies. No-bake and totally deadly. I know many of you are friends with the French Bread Rolls – no exaggeration that I make them (and their whole wheat counterparts) weekly for one reason or another.

Happy weekend!

Those french bread rolls and the mango and black bean salad are 2 staples around here. We LOVE them. I am going to try your orange beef and veggie stir fry this week. I love these posts!

Your French bread rolls are my go-to roll recipe. Love them!! We also love the tuna shells (hooray for the one-pot meal!), the bon bons (heavenly!) and the apple dip (addicting!). I have got to try the stir fry and the quinoa salad soon! I love these posts to remind me of all the great recipes I still need to try!

Yay! I love recipes the world forgot! I’m one of those who certainly hasn’t forgotten the french bread rolls. I make them all the time. They make any hamburger or sandwich immediately better!

I have a kiddo who asks to make the jalepeno cheddar turkey burgers whenever we are grilling.. He was completely sold on them as better than a regular (hamburger) after the first time we made them… summer favorite here for sure!! And I don’t remember how I survived before the french bread rolls (and their whole wheat counterpart) came into my life. We always have them in one form or another (hamburger buns, hot dog buns, hoagie buns… rolls.. you get the picture) in the freezer. .. and if we don’t nobody around here wants to run to the store they want me to hurry and whip up a batch… I just bought a big box of Mango’s at Sam’s yesterday.. time to make mango and black bean salad 🙂 thanks for another great post of recipes the world forgot !!

The French Bread Rolls are the only rolls I ever make – and I always double the recipe to have some on hand! And the toffee apple dip – oh my! Another favorite.

The French bread rolls are great! I make them all the time. I am actually making a huge batch this week to use as mini sandwiches for your boiled ham to serve family after my son’s baptism. Really, now that I’m thinking about it, 90% of the menu is from your site!
