quickest, easiest, most delicious chocolate chip mug cookie OF YOUR LIFE
add 1 tablespoon butter to a microwave-safe mug and microwave until melted
add 1 tablespoon granulated sugar + 1 tablespoon brown sugar
mix it around and then add a pinch of salt + 1 egg yolk
{major props to those of you who can separate an egg one handed.}
mix it up really well and add 1/4 cup all-purpose flour + a healthy amount of chocolate chips (mini or regular)
Stir it all up! Mix until there's no longer any flour streaks. Don't over mix.
It should look an awful lot like cookie dough. If it's dry and crumbly, add a splash of milk.
Pop in the microwave for 1 minute at 80% power (this is for a 1,000 watt microwave; adjust accordingly)
Why yes, I did clean my microwave just for you. Also, OH BABY. Good things are about to happen.
It's done when the top springs back lightly to the touch and is ultra soft and melty (not dry and hard).
