EASY CHEESY WEEKNIGHT PASTA BAKE

This easy weeknight pasta bake is a kid-friendly family favorite! Quick and simple, it can be made ahead of time and it makes a great freezer meal!

INGREDIENTS

Persimmon

- penne pasta - ground beef - onion - salt - black pepper - tomatoes - tomato sauce - brown sugar - dried basil - dried oregano - garlic powder

Radish
Artichoke
Carrot

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

STEP 2

While the pasta is cooking, cook the ground beef, onion, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper, in a skillet set over medium heat, breaking the meat into small pieces as it cooks.

STEP 3

Return the pot to medium heat and add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, brown sugar, basil, oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.

STEP 4

Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes. Season to taste with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
