CHEWY MALTED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS

These ultra chewy malted chocolate chip cookie bars are crazy delicious and so easy to make (a one-bowl recipe!). That amazing malt flavor makes all the difference!

– salted butter – dark brown sugar – eggs – vanilla extract – all-purpose flour – malted milk powder – baking soda – salt – milk balls – chocolate chips

Add the flour, malted milk powder, baking soda and salt and mix until a few dry streaks still remain.

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until very thick and creamy, 1-2 minutes.

Add the malted milk balls and chocolate chips and stir until evenly combined.

Spread the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges and top are lightly golden and the middle doesn’t jiggle (but is still soft – you don’t want to over bake these bars).

Cool to room temperature and cut into squares.
