10 Most Popular Recipes Posted in 2020
In 2020, I posted over 75 new recipes.
Out of those recipes, these are the 10 most popular (by a large margin).
You loved them! I loved them! Many of you made these recipes within hours of them going live on my site (you amazing souls).
What has been YOUR favorite recipe this year? Did it make the list?

How have I only made one of these?? (The shrimp tacos.) I have some catching up to do!
Those shrimp tacos are so good and we love the blender rolls. Great year of cooking at home.
These lists always surprise me! I also wonder how a recipe posted in December has a fair chance against one posted in January, but both are represented here!
Oh, those homemade donuts are heaven! And the honey Chipotle chicken bowls and the creamy chicken soup were fast favorites too. Here were some of our other super favorites of the year: the English muffins recipe (I love love this!!) and the grilled pork salad recipe. Grilled green beans are our new favorite way to eat green beans!! And your December dessert recipe: PB pretzel caramel brownie bars were delish!! Thank you for filling my dinner table with amazing food!!
Yes! The blender rolls were a HIT for Christmas! And the creamy chicken soup we made with turkey leftovers from Thanksgiving. THE BEST Thanksgiving leftover soup we’ve had. These are definitely keepers!
I think I’m at 6 of these! My favorite is a toss up between the shrimp tacos (love the method to those, too) and the honey chipotle lime chicken bowls!
I didn’t have the emotional energy to fry with my children, or I definitely would have made those donuts!
Wow crazy none of my favorites are on the list! The Stuffed bbq chicken sweet potatoes were for sure our favorite game-changing recipe this year! They are so easy and nutritious and a very unique flavor – just delicious! Here’s the other recipes we made on repeat this year. I’m going to try the blender rolls today though! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful recipes Mel! You are a household name for sure
Veggie turkey taco lettuce wraps
Chocolate chip Banana bread scones
Crunchy baked French toast sticks
Jalapeño cheddar turkey burgers
Crunchy bake French toast sticks were one of our favourites too.
Looks like I better start cooking more in 2021…I’ve been slackin! I think I only tried 2 of these (but really I’ve made a loooot of your recipes, just apparently not ones that made the cut!) thanks for sharing so much deliciousness, we love you Mel!
All wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Mel, the best thing that I have ever made of yours (well, definitely one of the top 10 recipes for 2020) is—-
SESAME THAI CHICKEN DIP.
Out of this world. I owe you big time for this recipe.
Hahahaha. Yes, you might be right. That dip changed my life, too.
Oh my gosh. I forgot about that dip. It is soooo good. I would agree with that.
The breakfast burritos prevented my family from starving after I had my 3rd baby a few weeks ago!
Congrats on your baby, Ivy!
The baked shrimp tacos have become a new family favorite! I love that I can make some with flour tortillas and some with corn to accommodate everyone’s needs/likes. And those breakfast burritos – they became a make-ahead staple for camping this summer – yum! Thanks for all the goodness. Happy New Year!
Those shrimp tacos are definitely my top recipe of the year. So good!
Wow – I’m glad to know that I’m making the same things from your site that everyone else is too!! I make the Baked Shrimp Tacos, Honey Chipotle Lime Chicken Bowls & the Freezer Breakfast Burritos ALL the time. Thanks for some great recipes!
Thanks for sharing the recipes you love, Sharon!
I’m so sad your Cheesey Enchilada Bake didn’t make the cut. It is a huge hit at our house and has been on regular rotation for months. I make the crock pot adaptation and it makes it a super easy meal as well.
That’s such a good one! It wasn’t too far down the list of favorites that didn’t make it. 🙂
I agree!!! That has been a fast family favorite of ours!!
Our favorite of this new list are the cheesy drop biscuits! They are so delicious! Happy New Year to you and your family Mel! thanks for helping us all be rock stars in the kitchen!! 🙂
Thank you, Trish! Happy new year to you, too!
I’ve made over half on both lists! Your freezer breakfast burritos are a big hit here; although, they don’t always make it to the freezer. They make a great dinner!
I agree, Laura – we make those a lot and regularly eat them without freezing first!
