Food for the 4th! {Over 45 Recipe Ideas}
If you are looking for some menu inspiration for the 4th of July, here’s a great BBQ Make-a-Menu I’ve updated from last year (to include a few new recipes). I hope you have some rockin’ plans to celebrate (if not, feel free to come remodel and weed with us; I’ll feed you!).

Thanks for finally talking about > Mel’s Kitchen Cafe | Food for the 4th! Over 45 Recipe Ideas < Loved it!
We were also remodeling and weeding, but your sugar cookie bars helped make it more bearable!
I would come pull weeds for the food!
All these recipes look so scrumptious!!! I want them all sitting on a picnic table right in front of me!
Love your recipes – in fact, I used some of them when I made desserts for 300 people for my nephew’s graduation party and they turned out great!!!
Question: To save recipes, I normally hit “print recipe”, then highlight and copy over to Word. Most of the time when I paste into Word, the picture is there, but once in a while it’s not and I’m not able to copy the picture straight off the website. Am I doing something wrong?
The fourth is taken…. but we will definitely come weed and remodel for free food made by Mel!! How does next week sound?
I love the fact that Lemon Berry Trifle can work with almost any holiday menu. It’s pretty and tasty for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, 4th of July, etc. It is perfect for me since it is my all time favorite! I should just start Trifle Tuesday!
I love all these menu ideas for the Fourth, Mel! Your round-ups are just the best. Good luck on your remodeling and weeding! Fun indeed, hehe.
I accessed the site on my phone and my tablet. All the links worked for me. Maybe just some cyber dust causing intermittent problems.
The recipes look great. I have corn to cook so I will try your method.
Hey Roni – are you using an iPad or mobile device to view this post? For some reason these collages have issues on mobile devices but work fine on a laptop/computer. I’m trying to work out the bugs for the mobile side of things in the meantime.
It all looks so fun and tasty! I can’t wait to plan our menu for the fun holiday! I can’t get most of the pictures to open to the correct recipes like normal. The sides links seem to all open to the Mexican Corn Salad recipe. Any suggestions? Thanks Mel!
Perfect! Your magic layered drinks and brownie and fruit kebobs were on our menu last year and were requested again this year! Thanks for all the yummy! Happy remodeling and weeding!
