After a lot of consideration and going back and forth, I finally decided to make the hubs pick Easter dessert by showing him pictures. It was a toss up between coconut tres leches and double chocolate torte. We went with the double chocolate torte and man, oh man, it was a hit. sooooo gooood!!!! My brother, who wouldn’t stop eating it, said it really is something you’d find at the Cheesecake Factory. He’s so right. That was one amazing dessert. Thanks for making our Easter a little sweeter, Mel!

    Hi Mel,

I made the chicken cordon bleu and the coconut cream pie for Easter yesterday and it was a HUGE hit! The chicken was done absolutely perfect, so thank you for the wonderful directions! I LOVE this website!!!!! Thank you!

  17. Hi Mel,

Just wanted to let you know how very much I enjoy your recipes. My husband recently passed away and understandably I have not spent much time on the computer. However, I have not received anything from you for the past 2-3 weeks. I miss you! I sincerely hope that I haven’t disconnected myself. I share many of the dishes I make with friends and neighbors. They love it! You are so talented. Anyway please check to see if I am still on your list. Thanks Mel and keep the recipes coming.

    Barbara
