Here is where I’ll detail my “BEST” recipes. I probably have over 50 recipes for cookies on my site…but if you want to go straight to the best chocolate chip cookie recipe, I’ll detail it here for you. The best whole wheat bread? I’ll tell you. Brownies? Got it right here.
I’ll continually be adding to this resource as I try new recipes. But I want you to be able to have a one-stop guide to the best recipes so you don’t have to spend hours searching for something simple. Click on the category heading below to see the “best of” that lies therein!

Hi, Melanie… I’m a friend of a friend and I’ve been loitering around your site for quite a while now. I really enjoy cooking, but hate the trial and error of it all. Thanks for taking the guess work out of it and making it easy to find great recipes!
By the way, you are famous at my house. Everyone loves when I make something “from that cooking site.” And my poor little netbook has flour finger prints all over the arrow keys

Trapped in my house after 7PM night after night, with my laptop the only gateway to adult interaction. Thank you for saving me from hours on Facebook. Now I can’t wait to get my 4 little ducklings to bed, so that I can plan out my cooking projects for the week. It’s a win for all of us. Thank you!

Can I just tell you how IN LOVE with your recipes I am? I love that you don’t usually use “crazy” ingredients that 1. I don’t keep in my house or 2. would have a heck of a time finding in my local grocery store!!!! 2nd thing I LOVE about your site: your instructions on freezing and thawing various items— I’ve decided to start cooking and freezing extras to help take the burden off me b/c my husband CANNOT cook to save his soul… and once we have kids, this is going to get MUCH harder.
Thanks so much!!! Keep up the great work!
Love your website. I tried the pumpkin chocolate chip bread and it was amazing!

I found your website when I googled, “tried and true”. You were so pationate about your recipes I thought even if they are half as good as you s a y they are they would still be good. So I tried the sweet and sour chicken and it was awesome! I really mean that – awesome! Can’t wait to try more of them.

Here is the
recipe for my family’s favorite chocolate frosting.1 stick of softened butter ,3c powdered sugar, chocolate baking powder (Hershey’s or Nestle),one teaspoon at a time. Alternate with 1 T milk at a time. I use less chocolate. We like it quite thick & don’t over mix or add too much milk

I made your chocolate coconut cream pie bars. My husband and friends are nuts over them. The coconut cream pudding is great as a stand alone dessert too. It’s my husband’s fav comfort food.
Was in the mood for brownies tonight, so when I checked out my pins on pinterest I saw that probably 5 of the 6 brownie recipes I had pinned were yours. And your site was down – of course – I know, you warned us. So I tried out a different one – but can’t wait to try one of yours.
