I don’t think it’s a secret that I love me a good wrap. Right on the heels of my diatribe on cooler, no-bake summer eats, these chicken caesar salad wraps are just about perfect, especially if you make use of a rotisserie chicken (hello Sam’s Club and Costco – thy rotisserie chickens are divine!). If rotisserie chickens aren’t your thing, simply sub cooked, shredded chicken and you’ll be good to go.
An easy and fun twist on Caesar salad, these wraps are laden with tender, juicy chicken, crisp romaine and a deliciously simple creamy dressing. I served these babies with fresh fruit and vegetables – a light, healthy dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes makes for one happy momma (me!).

Note: If rotisserie chickens aren't your thing, go ahead and sub 3 cups of cooked, shredded chicken for the rotisserie.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup light or regular mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from about 1 large lemon)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 (2 1/2 pound) rotisserie chicken, skin and bones discarded, meat shredded into bite-sized pieces (about 3 cups)
- 1 romaine lettuce heart (about 6 ounces), torn into bite-sized pieces
- 4 (10-inch) whole-grain tortillas or wraps
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and garlic. Whisk in the olive oil slowly until thoroughly incorporated.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken and lettuce with the dressing. Divide the chicken/lettuce mixture evenly among the tortillas or wraps. Roll and secure with a toothpick, if desired. Serve.

Yum! I love me some Caesar salad! I love that you made this for dinner and it was a 30 minute meal!
Love your site. So many of your recipes are now in my ‘go-to’ folder. Just curious–what do you serve as a side dish with wraps? I have a hard time deciding with wraps, as they usually have veggies already (and bread), but it seems like there should be something else.
Thanks!
Shar
These sound great, and so simple and easy. What kind of wraps do you use?
I’m a wrap lover too. Having one for lunch today as a matter of fact. Tortillas with some deli smoked turkey and Swiss cheese.
Hi Shar – I usually serve wraps with fresh cut veggies and fruit (anything in season) and also some baked chips or crackers.
Rachel – for these, I used the whole grain wraps/tortillas from Sam’s Club.
This is a perfect summer wrap! Definitely will add this to my “wrap collection”!
Looks very good! Is it ever ok to use canned Parmesan cheese instead of block cheese? Also, we are trying your Best Recipe Sloppy Joes for our family get together this week. Do you have a favorite brand of Bar B Q sauce you like in it? Thanks!
I just bought a rotisserie chicken and a package of whole grain wraps. We’ll be having this tonight! Thanks for another great recipe.
Sandra – I hardly ever use the canned Parmesan (unless to sprinkle on spaghetti) so I probably wouldn’t substitute it here. My favorite BBQ sauce is the homemade version I make – if I am out of that, I always go for Sugar Ray’s or KC Masterpiece Original.

Yum! I am totally making these!
These are perfect! I have a ton of tortillas and caesar salad never goes out of my rotation for long!
Thanks so much for sharing your blog! Lately whenever I make a yummy new recipe, my husbands asks me if it’s from “that awesome food blog!” I live in AZ where the temps get up to 118 degrees, so I totally sympathize about not wanting to heat up the kitchen! I’ve browsed around your blog a bit looking for this, but do you have somewhere a collection of all your cool-on-a-hot-summer-day recipes?
Hey Mel, I just read the latest Costco magazine and they were asking for ideas that people do with their rotisserie chickens. You should turn this one in!
I made these tonight and they were so good!! My children loved them!!! I served with fresh strawberries, mango, and nectarines along with green beans….
Yum! I’ve been doing a lot of wraps and sandwiches this summer too! They are just so easy and don’t require the use of my oven! Hallelujah!
I just made these as a light lunch for a get together and they were delicious!! I forgot to get a lemon so I just did without, but they tasted great to me! We had watermelon and a salad with berries, almonds and poppy seed dressing, and it was the perfect lunch!! Thanks again for a fabulous recipe!
these are wonderful! I’ve made them twice
my family LOVES them! thanks for another great meal
