Easy Cinnamon Honey Butter {For Rolls and Toast}
Sweet, creamy and easily spreadable, this cinnamon honey butter comes together fast and is perfect on fresh-from-the-oven rolls!
After tasting this divine cinnamon honey butter, you may never go back to eating rolls with plain ol’ butter again. It is so, so good and perfect on copycat Texas Roadhouse rolls.
Cinnamon Honey Butter
There are just four simple ingredients in this honey butter:
- salted butter
- honey
- ground cinnamon
- splash of vanilla
You can add more or less cinnamon to taste. I find that 1/2 teaspoon is just about right!
This recipe is also easily doubled or tripled, so you can have cinnamon honey butter for daayyysss.
Whip all the ingredients together until very smooth and creamy.
YUM.
How to Store and Serve Cinnamon Honey Butter
The cinnamon honey butter is perfectly spreadable right after it is mixed, and it can be left at room temperature for a couple of hours.
For longer term storage, keep it in a covered container in the refrigerator. Take it out in time to soften before using.
The honey butter is delicious on rolls, toast, French toast, pancakes, and more!
I, for one, am powerless to resist the charms of cinnamon honey butter.
While definitely sweet, it is perfectly appropriate to serve cinnamon honey butter + homemade rolls at dinner time (or any time!).
Because my family all agrees it would be foolhardy to ever be without this stuff, I keep a container of it in the fridge at all times and we pull it out for breakfast, snacks, dinner and anytime a piece of bread seems lonely.
I initially included the cinnamon honey butter recipe on the post for the copycat Texas Roadhouse rolls but felt like it deserved a permanent spot of its own. This cinnamon honey butter is sure to elevate your homemade dinner roll game forever!
