20 Favorite 4th of July Recipes
I’m guessing many 4th of July celebrations will look different this year, but even if you don’t celebrate with a huge party, the food still deserves to be delicious! Plus, these recipes are perfect for any and all summer BBQs.
Here are 20 of my favorite 4th of July recipes! (I sent this same list out to all my newsletter subscribers, if you haven’t subscribed yet and want first access to new recipes, click here to sign up.)
We’re celebrating with a morning family hike after which we will commence eating delicious food the rest of the day (cherry pie is a must-have around here on the 4th) while we challenge each other to The Epic of All Epics Family Cornhole Tournament. Wish me luck (ahem, I’ll need it). Have a happy and safe 4th!
those s’mores bars!! A) I love you and your blog is wonderful B) Could you post some of your favorite no bake dessert recipes for us sweating out the summer with out AC 🙂 my boys will happily get involved in home ec if it involves dessert
Thanks for posting this list, Mel! The honey-lime fruit salad and best-marinade grilled chicken were a hit, and the German potato salad has been requested at every single meal since since Saturday by my 6 year old. (Good thing I made a big batch, ha ha!) Hope you enjoyed the holiday with your family and that your recovery has gone well. As always, love ya, girl!
Looks great, but you’re missing homemade ice cream 🙁 I just made some coffee chocolate chip ice cream and I can’t wait to taste it. [We’ve discussed ice cream before, and I know that you are in favor of it :)]
You’re right – I AM in favor of it! I need to get some more homemade ice cream recipes posted here!
A perfect summer collection of recipes! FYI, I am not sure if you are aware, but Jennifer Garner made a shout out to you and your blog on FB. She was making homemade bagels with the recipe from your site and said how much she loved your blog (one of her favourites). It was very exciting. 🙂
Haha, I think that was from last year! And it was very exciting for me, too. 🙂
Several of my faves on this list !! I make the corn salad regularly during summer… so yummy !! Happy 4th Of July Weekend Mel❤️
I am so excited to see this post! About a year ago in a lame attempt to get organized I accidentally deleted my ENTIRE recipe board!! . Since that dark day I have tried to go back and collect what I’d lost. I knew I was missing some! Cue this post and Mexican Corn Salad and your chicken avacado salad have been repinned! Thank you for helping me remember these!!
