Holiday Gift Guide: Him + Her + Kids + Teens
Holiday gift guides are live! Below are tons of ideas for kids and adults of all ages!
Remember that none of the items on my gift guides are sponsored. I’ve bought or been gifted by friends/family everything on this list – these are all things we genuinely love and play often! Affiliate links are included for items I’ve purchased from Amazon; feel free to shop around for the best deal.
I hope you find this gift guide helpful! It certainly isn’t meant to be comprehensive, especially since the ages of my kids are likely different than those you are shopping for, but it includes a lot of fun ideas for all ages.
Other Gift Guides:
Kids/Teens
Sensing Gratitude Journal: considering Camryn has written in this gratitude journal daily for almost six months, I had to share it. Every day has gratitude prompts for all the senses; it is such a wonderful way to focus on the good in our lives. We love this journal!
Ties: these ties are incredibly popular right now with my teenage and young adult sons, particularly my son serving a church mission in the Philippines. They are his favorite ties…so much so that I included two more in his Christmas package (shipped by boat three months ahead of time!) – one for him, and one for his companion.
Gross Science Kit: Talk about a boys’ (and probably many girls’) dream science kit! It’s gross…and creative…and really awesome.
Oofos Ooahh Slides: my boys’ favorite slides! So comfy. They wear them during their sport seasons as they go to and from practices.
Inflatable Lounger: these are all the rage with my teenagers and their friends right now. They are perfect for at home, but they are awesome take-alongs for sporting events, movie nights and more.
Portable Phone Charger: a perfect stocking stuffer!
Fujifilm Instax Camera: I wondered if these cameras were overhyped, but Cam received one for Christmas last year as her main gift, and she is still using it! She’s very frugal with her film usage 😉 but she brings this along on every family trip. It has been so fun. There is a more grown-up version of this camera, too.
How to Survive Book: a clever and actually quite useful book, this manual is a fun read and perfect for adventurous kids.
Difficult Riddles Book: this book is perfect for anyone of any age who loves riddles. They’re challenging but fun!
Glide Detangler Brush: I can’t say enough good things about this brush. Cam uses it daily and it is a wonder for long, easily tangled hair. It would make a perfect stocking stuffer!
Lego Succulents: these creative Lego plant sets are our new Lego obsessions. They’re fun to put together and so cute, they can be left out as decor!
Portable Suitcase Record Player: one of my sons has gotten into vinyl records, and this portable record player has been the best for him to start out with. It has bluetooth speakers and the sound quality is excellent. Tons of great reviews!
Yodeling Pickle: because is there anything better than a pickle that yodels? Best stocking stuffer (or white elephant gift!) ever! It’s surprisingly loud. 😂
Shape Shifting Cube: my kids are obsessed with these, and we have gifted them to so many others! It’s wild what shapes you can make with these (and even more if you put two together!).
Electric Drum Set: this drum set has been such a hit with everyone in our family. It was a gift for Cam, who desperately wants to learn the drums. Much smaller footprint, and it has provided hours of exciting drum time (cue the ear plugs for me).
Plastic Bat and Wiffle Ball Set: it is shocking how many hours of fun my kids have had playing old-fashioned wiffle ball in the backyard with this set. HOURS.
Puffy Sticker Books: my kids are too old (or so they say 😜) for these sticker books, but they are my go-to gift for family and friends with little kids. I have heard back that they have provided hours of fun for their littles. The reviews on these are excellent!
Glow in the Dark Football: such a clever spin on football, and perfect for the time of year when the days are short, because this football can be used in the early evening.
Gel Nail Lamp: this nail lamp is used often at our house since Cam is at the age where she loves to paint her nails…and so do her friends! It’s amazing how fast the gel nail polish dries with this thing.
Floor Chairs: these are the most amazing and comfy chairs! My sister introduced them to me, and I am slowly stocking up our bonus room with them. They come in a variety of colors!
Him + Her
Men’s Ultra-Soft T-Shirt: this is definitely not a blow-your-mind recommendation, but for the practical guy in your life, these bamboo t-shirts are incredibly soft and so comfy. My young adult boys love them!
Watercolor Notecards: these beautiful notecards have become my go-to gift for friends this year. I keep a set on hand for me, too, and they are perfect for when a handwritten note is needed.
Slim Wallet/Money Clip: my boys hate bulky wallets. This one has been extremely popular with them! Functional and classy.
Survival Pocket Tool: a perfect stocking stuffer! I’ve gifted this to almost every dude in my life for the last couple of years.
Multi-Tool Pen: another fun (and functional) stocking stuffer!
Powerful Bluetooth Speaker: we own several bluetooth speakers ranging in size, price and quality, and this is the best of the best!
Tote Bag: I have several of these tote bags…and they make great gifts! They are lightweight, waterproof, and super durable. Not to mention…really, really cute! They come in a lot of different patterns.
Rocking Camp Chair: we fight over this chair whenever we take it anywhere. It has the perfect rockability factor (yes, that’s the technical term). It sits a bit lower to the ground than a classic camp chair. It is the best rocking camp chair!
Overnight Lip Mask: this stuff is AMAZING. It rehydrates lips overnight without being super sticky or gloopy. It would make a perfect stocking stuffer!
JCrew Factory Bow Earrings: I am in love with these simple, classy, adorable earrings! They are a JCrew Factory find, and I think they are almost sold out, but they are too cute not to mention. I wear them all the time!
Solo Stove: we bought a solo stove earlier this year from Scheels (lots of options there!), and we love it! My kids use it often with their friends at night. It produces a good amount of heat, and is great for roasting marshmallows.
Cell Phone Stand with Speaker: this is perfect for when you need to set your phone down to work (outside, inside, wherever) and want a speaker to project music or a podcast or whatever you are listening to.
Rechargeable Magnetic Light: these powerful little lights are perfect for when you need a hands-off light to help with pretty much any project. And they are rechargeable!
Mike’s Hot Honey: because hot honey is SO GOOD, and this brand is exceptional. This would make a fun stocking stuffer for the foodie in your life. Hot honey is amazing drizzled over pizza, grilled or fried chicken, and so many other things.
Women’s Rockdove Slippers: incredibly cozy, these slippers are the best! There is also a men’s version here.
Women’s Half Zip Sweatshirt: this sweatshirt is fantastic! It’s very slightly cropped (not too much!) making it perfect for lounging AND for going out and looking *mostly* put together! 😉 It really is such a good top. It comes in a lot of colors, too!

I love your recipes AND gift guides, especially the game ones 🙂 I have purchased several of your recommendations in years past! I have a question…if you had to pick ONE game that was hands-down the MOST fun and produced the most laughs while you played, what would it be? We are dealing with the sudden death of an immediate family member this year and I am determined to make this Christmas as happy as possible so we are going to be playing LOTS of games! Does one or two games stick in your mind as laugh-out-loud funny? Thank you!!
Hi Julie, first of all, I am so very sorry for your loss. I admire your efforts to make this holiday season joyful! As for games, it’s really hard to know without knowing ages and personalities of your crew, but a few that come to mind for fun games that cause us to laugh are: Telestrations, Poetry for Neanderthals, or Reverse Charades.
Thank you so, so much! We don’t have any of those so I’m off to check them out. I appreciate you!
I was just getting curious about trying gel nail polish, thanks for posting a light that is much more affordable than the one I was looking at! Can you share anything else you’ve learned about gel nails – do some polishes work better than others? And how have you found to remove it easily and safely? If you get a chance to reply:)
Melanie, I love your gift and toy lists!!
I have purchased so many over the years. You’ve never led me astray.
Thank you so much, Sue!
Those magnetic lights are magical! I used one to find missed spots when painting. And we love our solo stove–so much less smoky and pretty easy to find used.
I am 61 and I love my Oofos Ooahh Slides! I swear these have made my knees feel 10x better and I have even noticed my back feels better. I wear them inside all the time. I have the clogs to wear for quick trips to the store and errands. And of course everyone in the family has them now.
Yay! Glad those slides have been so helpful for your feet, Kimbra!
These are great! I look forward to your lists every year.
Thanks, Allie!
I love these annual lists! I got my daughter that brush last Christmas and she loves it for her long fine hair. Those shape shifting cubes have been an obsession with my kids and their cousins for a few years, so fun!
Thanks, Stephanie!
Love your gift lists. Every year I order a few of your suggestions as gifts. Thanks!
Thanks, Teresa!
Another awesome stocking stuffer for kids is Zip string. It’s really fun string that flows in the air (watch a YouTube on it, it’s hard to describe haha). I got mine on Amazon. Super mesmerizing toy
Thanks for the recommendation!
Thank you for putting these list’s together, so helpful.
Can’t wait to look through them all.
Thanks, Michele – I love putting these guides together!
Thanks so much for these ideas. I have 3 already in my cart.
You are very welcome, Cindy!
I NEED that half zip sweatshirt…but the link goes to a portable clothes steamer. Looking forward to the real link (when you have a chance to update it!).
Sorry about that! Just fixed the link: https://amzn.to/4e8n1Kb
If you click right on the picture of the sweatshirt it takes you to it.
Hey Mel, I am so excited about this list. Thank you for posting! I am interested in that cute sweatshirt, but the link takes me to a steamer. Can you update that link?
Just fixed the link – sorry about that! https://amzn.to/4e8n1Kb
